Soren Aabye Kierkegaard was born on May 5, 1813 and died November 11, 1855. He lived a short life by our standards (42 years old). He lived in Copenhagen, Denmark and he traveled little outside Copenhagen.
He never became an ordained minister, professor, or as far as we know never really held any kind of job at all.
