          Early Life and Recognition

          Garchen Rinpoche, a revered master of the Drikung Kagyu tradition, was born in Nangchen, Kham, Eastern Tibet, in Notably, his lineage can be traced back to Gardampa Chodenpa, a disciple of the great Jigten Sumgon.
